Martek Moves to a
New
Home Three years ago, we announced
our factory re-location from Southern California to Raleigh, North
Carolina.
At first, things were kinda strange (You call
that barbecue?!) and though the beach was now three hours away
'stead of three miles, the beautiful countryside and friend-ly local
folk made us feel right at home.
During these last three
years, we worked real hard to improve quality control as well as our
customer service. We must be doing something right 'cause y'all keep
choosing us time and again over the "other guys".
Well,
the "downside" of your support is that it didn't take us
long to outgrow our old place. Not to mention the space was less
than ideal ("Hey, it's my turn to use the bathroom!"). So,
we decided to build our own place complete with state-of-the-art
telephone and computer systems, engineering and test labs, and yes,
more bathrooms.
Now, there's no need to panic; just
because we got us a new building doesn't mean our prices are all
sudden-like going up. [Shoot, the last price increase we had was in
1989 when we charged a bit more for our dissolved oxygen sensor
'cause the price of platinum went up. Fact of the matter is we've
lowered prices over the years.] Now, all of our phone and
fax numbers haven't changed a bit. The same goes for our mailing
address. However, we do have a new shipping address:

Use this address when you want
to send anything to us for repair, re-certification, or trade-in
(see our last Fearless Flyer!). And if you're ever in our neck of

"We got us a Web Page!"
 At
first, Management thought a web page was some dust-covered drawing
from the Engineering Dept., but we finally convinced 'em to join the
21st century. (Besides, how else were we gonna down-load the SPORTS
ILLUSTRATED Swim Suit issue?) Anyhow, if you want to "browse"
our brochures, "scrutinize" our newsletters, or "peruse"
our Fearless Flyers, this is one of the easier ways of doing it.
'Course, if you're tired of all this high-falutin, de-humanized form
of communication, you can always pick up the phone, dial our 800
number and ask us to mail 'em to you. It's just as easy.
